How do I add(or cancel) a block out period

A blockout period is the specific timeframe when car park access is not available to your users. They can be created for days or hours, depending on your requirements

A Shuffle administrator can add a blockout period by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the Shuffle Admin Portal
  2. Go to the On-demand tab
  3. Select Blockout dates
  4. Click the Add blockout date button in the left-hand side panel.
  5. A pop-up screen will open, where you can enter:
    1. A start date and time for blockout period
    2. An end date and time for the blockout period
    3. Location of the blockout
    4. Which users will be impacted by the blockout
  6. Click Add when you are ready to save the blockout period.
  7. If there are any existing bookings for the duration, Shuffle will prompt you to either keep the existing booking or remove it from the system.
  8. If you remove an existing booking from the system, users will be notified of the blockout period.

To cancel a blockout, click on the X next to the blockout period that’s no longer required.
